Our Exuma Cay adventure...

We went on a tour on Thursday with Exuma Cay Adventures and it was so much fun.  Peter took us in his glass bottom boat and we explored a lot of the other cays in Exuma.  We drove to the north part of Great Exuma (Barreterre) and we left from the government dock at 8:45 am and got back at 7:30 pm.  We saw the homes/cays of the stars.  He showed us the islands {cays} owned by Niclolas Cage, Faith Hill/Tim McGraw, the owner of the Spurs, Johnny Depp & and we went by Musha Cay - owned by David Coperfield.  It was like being in LA and having a tour of the Stars homes - but we were in a boat.  The glass bottom boat was cool because I don't like to snorkel and he would go over blue holes and coral reefs and we could all look with out getting out.  The kids did snorkel but in safer places and they went to Thunderball Grotto - a cave that was in a James Bond movie.  We went to the most fantastic sand-bar that was near Mush Cay - I think it is the one on their web-site.  Then we had lunch at Staniel Cay Marina and Yacht Club - it was great, that is a nice place.  We would like to stay there one day.  You can only get there by a small plane or on a boat.  We then took our left overs to "Pig Island" aka - Major Spot Cay and next off to Thunderball to snorkel in the cave.  We went to a Cay with Iguanas.   The kids snorkeled and fished at a couple of more beaches and we went home.  I really recommend this trip if you have a day and the weather is nice.
