Trying to keep my tree warm . . .

Remember my Royal Poinciana?

it has a lot less ferns (leaves) now (see below)

I wrapped the bottom with a towel and have it by the house ~

this is our 3rd freeze this winter.  I hope it makes it!

Happy February ~  looking forward to Spring and then Summer and maybe a trip to Exuma!

This tree started growing from a seed pod that I brought from Exuma &  put in this container -

maybe it will look like this one day . . .

I have so much to post about our trip ~ just need to find the time to do it.  I got a bad summer cold on top of everything else.  {blah}   I love this picture that I took while walking around February Point;   I went down a dirt path and found this view looking towards the harbour into town.
